commander was the first translation of 甲士, which was later changed to warrior. Althought there is a strong possible that 神将, the soared status of 甲士 may have been translated to Commander by jagex, as 将 means "commander", and they dropped/ignored 神 "god", to remove any signs of religion in the game. --Bagels (talk) 07:21, September 6, 2010 (UTC)
