Life, Mana Edit

For every legend, Life and Mana is calculated with:

$Life = Courage*5 + Strategy*2 + C$

$Mana = Magic*5 + Strategy*2 + C$

Where C is a constant specific to each legend type.

Since Courage, Magic, and Strategy can change, I've been listing a 'base' life/mana (rather than 'starting' life/mana), as two legends with the same Courage/Magic/Strategy can still have different life/mana due to this value. This value can be derived by subtracting what a legend's life/mana is from what it should be, using the above formula.

I believe that WarOfLegends is in control of it due to this conversation. However, according to Special:ListUsers, he hasn't logged in since mid-april. The last tweet was also on the same day he last logged in. Odds are that we wont be able to get access to that account unless we can try guessing the password. What I could do is create a new account, and notify the official wol twitter to change their follow to us. It doesn't have to be only me running it, if you want you can too. I use this neat addon called "Echofan" for firefox which makes it really easy to tweet.

Spotlight Request Edit

Hi az. War of Legend Wiki looks really nice, but there are a few things you need to do to meet all of the Spotlight Criteria. First you have a 3 line sitenotice; could you trim it down to 2 lines please? Secondly, the main page is sysop protected against editing, but I can't see any history of vandalism. Could you please drop the protection level to registered users or none at all? Having the main page locked against edits runs counter to the idea of a freely editable wiki; if it is vandalized you can reprotect it at that point. You have a few uncategorized pages (one appears to be a blank page in fact). Finally, could you please add a sidebar menu link to Special:NewFiles (recently added images). Hi. Thanks for making the adjustments, and I've added you to the spotlight list. In terms of the main page, it's not a policy I made about the main page protection so I can't change it. That said, the exception to the rule is for a "strong history" of vandalism; that means a wiki where the main page is vandalized repeatedly over a length of time, not just once. As far as I can see, your main page has never been vandalized at all.

While it's true that the rest of your wiki is freely editable, first impressions count, which you know or you wouldn't be worried about the main page getting messed up for a short while. So it matters that the first page be editable as well.

Most vandals are IPs or new accounts; the semi-protection is generally quite effective, as it blocks new accounts for 3-4 days and all IP edits. Chances are you will have identified a vandal in that time frame and blocked them. If you are very worried about it, you can tell your main editors about how to "undo" vandalism (they don't have the rollback option that sysops have unless you give it to them in User Rights, but undo works just as well; it merely involves an extra click). -- Wendy (talk) 17:31, June 12, 2010 (UTC)

从图中可以看到３种职业在相同的勇武和谋略的情况下普攻完全一样（最后的甲士将２０勇武按照１点对应５点普攻的关系将勇武降低到１４以后普攻也为８５）。另外一点勇武也对应大概２.１左右的防御，不过由于没有小数的数据体现所以有时候一点勇武提升２点防御而有时候提升３点，但是大致的比例是１：２.１。最后一点勇武还对应一点道攻，此外勇武对生命还有１：５的加成。

Basically it says that courage would increase def by 2 or 3 defence points and the ratio is 1 courage:2.1 defence. As such, the problem with the formula probably lies with the 2.1 figure. Pass my regards to Vistal. ^_^

Hey, sorry I'm taking so long to respond, I'm at my dad's so I haven't had much time to be online. I'm just responding quickly now with an answer to some of the issues. I like the screenshot idea a lot, I'll edit some stuff into it later and you can change it if you want. The mainpage I like, but If possible it would be best to have the bottoms two coloumns line up, it looks better. The chinese name on the infoboxes is cool, and we can use Ravn's item list to help figure out the names. Hey Az, been a while. Edit

I remember you from the RS wiki and I was wondering if you can do me a favour with a project of mine. I just got half of Royal Gardens started in this, and we're going to log every SP from floor 3+ with the exact legends, troops, and coords. I was wondering if you could get your server into it as well, and help me set up the pages for each SP. I've worked out a rough way to display a list of each type of SP here, and the individual SP pages can be organized like I have here, but one SP per page instead of all of them. There can also be a short guide detailing at bare minimum what is needed to complete a particular floor, or even the entire SP. It's a huge project, and hopefully we can get it done. A suggestion Edit

Just one thing to add on to Billy's SP log, perhaps for the SP legends articles we could add a section with Known Coordinates, basically a list of the coordinates of SPs where that legend can be found, Personally I think it would help so people would know where they have to go to get a particular legend? ~~| Pika |~~ ^(talk) 16:07, July 12, 2010 (UTC)

SP page catergories Edit

I was thinking, do you think it is possible to have SP pages auto categorized if there is 1 set of archers to the category "SPs with 1 archers", if it has 2 then "SPs with 2 archers", etc. all the way up to the 5+ category. It can make finding the perfect SPs in one click possible. Also, possibly categorize floor 8-12 as "SP has double archers on floor 8", "SP has double charrioteers on floor 9", etc.. Monaco toolbox Edit

Images for items Edit

You may remember me. A while back when I uploaded the first Red Damask image, I screenshotted the item and tried to smooth the edges out, but you used the AdBlock Plus addon for Firefox to find the image instead. EDIT: NVM figured it out. I just click the ABP icon to the right of my address bar and select "open blockable items", and search through the list for links similar to the one you gave me. Now I can update some pages =)

Obscured names Edit

Sorry to bug you again, but there are some tasks whose names are cut off due to the column divider (ex: Elemental Equ(cut-off), zoom in and out to see "qu"), so I wasn't sure whether or not to create a new page named "Elemental Equ". If I do, would it get renamed whenever the whole name gets discovered; wouldn't that also mean that every double bracket link to it would need to get updated too? If the new page is called "Elemental Equ" and each double bracket link on other pages is called "Elemental Equ", when the page gets renamed to (for example) "Elemental Equal", the double bracket links are updated to go to that page, but their names won't change, so even though they link to "Elemental Equal", their link names will still be "Elemental Equ", won't they? I used Adblock Plus to download that image from the game, and on my desktop the image shows no zero on it. But when I uploaded it to wikia, suddenly the zero appeared! I have no idea why this is happening, perhaps you can fix it.

Two legend articles, same legend? Edit

I just created the page for "Treasurer Lord", and I confirm this legend exists. The stats for "The Lord Treasurer" seems the same as the other one, but the images don't match. I'm not sure if "The Lord Treasurer" exists, so I don't know what to do about this. If you'd prefer to keep the page TLT or delete it, I'll leave it up to you.

Legend TemplateEdit

Legend Titles Edit

If you're not the person to ask, sorry to bother you, but how do you edit a page so that you can insert a legend's Title into the infobox? I can't seem to figure it out, I want to put Biqiao Tongzi's title as "Seer Diwei". If you could inform me how to do this for future references, that'd be great. Thanks for your help. legend pictures in legends list Edit

i have been working on fixing legends images, and have replaced several of the yuxu token legends pictures with their new ingame pictures. i have also been adding pictures to legends that did not previously have pictures.

however, in the famous legends, page the pictures have not updated. is there any way to fix this issue?

Yu Hualong, Yin Pobai, Wu Qian, Sima Qing, Kui Mulang, all show up as ? faces.

Daoxing Tianzun, Master of Ling Bao, Ci Hang, Ju Liusun, Wang Bian, still show up with their old pictures.any help would be appreciatedBrainkatt ^(talk) 15:03, September 2, 2011 (UTC)

Template:Infotable SPEdit

Hi i was working on the sp pictures for pipa, and realised that the ability column has level in its place for all legends.
