A Warehouse is a place to store your resources and protect them from enemy invasion. The higher your warehouse level, the higher the quantity of resources you can store safely. Any resources stored in a warehouse won't be taken during an invasion. Entering the Warehouse interface will allow you to alter what percentages of the storage space are allocated to which resources.

However, it is still very important to have a strong army to defend yourself from invasions.

Warehouse Tasks

Sometimes there are warehouse tasks. You can find these tasks under Growth. Depending on the specific task, you need to upgrade your palace to x level of warehouse. This can be in a pain for some people because they don't have enough population or resources or buildings.

Some people destroy their Warehouse after having it at level 20 and having done all tasks which requires the warehouse. They do this to get more space for other building like Villages.
